Start with the section closest to the issue you are experiencing.

WidgetMix is available on the App Store. These instructions describe its basic operation.

Create a widget with free layout

  1. Choose a small, medium, or large widget in the editor, select free layout, and open the canvas editor.
  2. Drag data, apps, and layer icons from the unplaced list onto the canvas. Drag a data card outside the canvas to return it to the list.
  3. Select an item on the canvas or in the unplaced list to change its size, graph, palette, or custom colors. Available settings depend on the item.
  4. “Arrange data cards” aligns data cards; “Arrange icons” aligns app and layer icons. Use Undo to reverse an operation.

Switch to Second layer 1 or Second layer 2

Edit a separate canvas with “Second layer 1” or “Second layer 2”. Place the corresponding layer icons from the first layer’s unplaced list, then tap them on the widget to switch. Use the return icon on a second layer to go back to the first layer.

Automatic return can be disabled or set to 30 seconds, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes. iOS may delay the visible refresh. Layers change what is displayed; they do not protect device notifications or widget image history.

Launch apps from their icons

Widget shortcuts first open WidgetMix, which then opens the target app or Apple Shortcut. If a shortcut does not open, check that the target app is installed and that its saved link or shortcut is correct. If a Universal Link fails, WidgetMix tries the URL scheme before falling back to the App Store when the saved configuration supports it.

Redeem a promotion code

Choose “Redeem promotion code” on the Premium screen to open Apple’s redemption screen and enter an Apple-issued free or discount code. Closing that screen does not confirm successful redemption. Check the code’s conditions and the updated purchase status in Premium. If access has not appeared, check the Apple Account used for the purchase and try “Restore purchases”.

Free trial, subscription, and restoring purchases

Use all main features—including the dashboard, widgets, and service connections—during a 14-day free trial. Unless you cancel, the trial automatically continues as a paid monthly subscription. You can also choose a one-time purchase instead of the monthly plan. If access stops, check your entitlement on the Premium screen and restore purchases with the Apple Account used to buy them. Expiry alone does not delete your settings or data.

The free trial is available once per subscription group. Check the App Store purchase screen for availability.

A one-time purchase does not cancel a monthly subscription. If you do not want to renew, cancel in Apple's subscription management at least 24 hours before the period ends. See Apple's cancellation instructions and the terms.

Before purchase and after expiry, Premium still lets you remove Google integration and delete web login data. Separately revoke Google's access permission through Google Account connections.

A widget is not updating

Open WidgetMix and pull down on its home screen to refresh. iOS schedules widget updates at the system level, so a widget may update later than the data shown inside the app. There is no guaranteed update interval.

Codex, Claude, or mobile data is not updating

Open the service from “Add & Manage” in the app and check whether you are still signed in. The unofficial webpage-reading method may temporarily stop working when the service website changes.

Connect Google Calendar and Gmail

Add a Google account from “Add & Manage”, then authorize Google Calendar and Gmail unread counts separately on that account's screen. To connect a second or subsequent account, choose “Add another Google account”. Event cards show up to four current or upcoming events from the next seven days of your primary calendar on separate cards. When an event ends, later events move up; if fewer than four events are available, the remaining slots stay blank. Gmail shows the inbox unread count. Google integration is optional. Other main features also require a free trial, active subscription, or one-time purchase.

The Gmail permission screen includes label editing, but this app only reads the unread count and does not modify labels or messages. See the privacy policy for details about data handling.

Remove Google integration

Use “Remove Google integration from this device” on the account's screen to delete its local credentials, fetched display data, and display settings. Original Google Calendar events and messages are not deleted. Separately revoke access through Google Account connections. Revocation at Google alone may leave saved display data, so also remove the local connection.

Calendar, reminders, Bluetooth, and location

Each permission can be changed at any time in iPhone Settings. Other features remain available within your valid entitlement even if you choose not to grant one of these permissions.

Accessibility issues

Problems with VoiceOver labels or reading order, controls that cannot be operated, clipped text, and insufficient contrast are handled as product defects. Please include the device, iOS version, screen name, and task you were trying to complete.
